Dad spent the morning setting up an RV in the parking lot at the hospital. Jarrod Burton hauled Kevin and Charla Holland's RV over and set up the RV so Karen would have a place to come and relax in between times with Porter. Also will serve as a place for Charlie to play.
We have the best friends and you are all so generous and have made this entire event manageable for Karen and me.
Porter is doing good, despite some of the "crotchety" nurses. Karen had just a "so-so" day yesterday, thanks to the same nurse, but is doing good today.
No news is good news in this case. Porter is still getting 4 mL's of milk every 4 hours and they are adding a fortifier to it. This increases the calorie content from 20 to 22. He is still on the vapo-therm or nasal cannulas and is still strong in terms of his lungs.
We thank God daily for your prayers and for each of you. We pray God will bless you as He has us.

As I read all the updates, I can see the improvement Porter is making every day and can "hear" the encouragement in your voice. Our God is faithful and His mercy is everlasting. May you continue to trust Him as He makes Himself known to you and directs the care of your precious son. We LOVE this blog and appreciate each and every update.
