Today has been a great day!
News to report: God is great, Porter is still off the vapo-therm and is requiring no respiratory help, the docs are increasing his "touch times" to every 3 hours from 4, and also feeding him every 3 hours now. He is up to 5mL's per feeding and HE WEIGHS 3 POUNDS, 1 OUNCE!!!!!!!
Also, for those of you that drop in and check on him, they are moving him to a different room. He is doing excellent. his nurse this evening is cousins of a girl we know that is married to an old Pistol Pete. We are so fortunate to have such wonderful people caring for Porter. His room change is nothing to be concerned with, I think it just shows they are comfortable with his progress.
In your prayers, I would just ask you to remember all the babies in the NICU. We heard there were quads delivered at 29 weeks on Tuesday. There are lots a babies and families that need these prayers. We are so blessed to have all you prayer warriors out there. And, seeing some of the other babies, we are blessed to have Porter and blessed that he is as strong as he is and progressing the way he is.
