What a day! I was with Porter from about 10am this morning till about 5pm this afternoon! He has had a good day!
I got to kangaroo this morning, what a sweet boy we have, while I was holding him he raised his head off my chest and looked around!! He is really strong! I also helped do his physical therapy at 1pm, which the OT (Sally) says that he is doing great with the therapy. They have increased his feedings to 7ml every 3 hours, this is something we are really praying about he is not really tolerating the feedings as well as they would like. The doctors and nurses tell me that this is normal for his age, but is still some what of a concern.
All in all, it was a good day. We are going back tomorrow and will get to spend about three touch times with him and get to love on him some more!!

Wow! Can't believe he lifted his head! That is great. So glad you are getting to spend more time with him in touch times, etc. We are keeping you in our prayers and so thankful for the progress made each day!

The food tolerance thing was exactly the same issue for my niece's baby, so I do think it is fairly common. What a sweet face "Bubba" has. Glad you are getting to be in on his treatments and getting more "bonding" time.
