Today was a good day.
Porter has gained 20 grams but is still technically 3 lb 9 oz. Nevertheless he is gaining.
They have moved him up to 30mL every three hours and he is maintaining his own temperature relatively well. His bed is kept around 84 degrees and he is maintaining the normal 98.6 body temperature. They will continue to drop the temp until it is close to room temperature.
He is eating good and gaining weight well which is really saying something considering all the dirty diapers he is having all of the sudden. Tells me his plumbing is starting to work better.
We stayed home today and took Charlie to watch the fireworks. He fell asleep during them for the third year in a row. We will go to OKC right after church in the morning.

I have been following "Porter News" like a hawk and am so glad he is doing so well. I hope Mom and Dad are hanging in there and doing as well as the little guy. Over the weekend, I kept everyone in Ark. updated daily from Reid's phone. Porter is so precious!!! I just absolutely love this picture! It makes me smile:) The expression on his face reminds me of another precious little boy I know ;) I can't wait to meet him! (I also like seeing his giraffe blanket.) I love the blog. Thanks for doing it. We love you guys. Many prayers from the Babcocks!
