7-9 11:04PM

I feel like maybe you guys get tired of reading the same old report day after day.

We consider it a blessing. He is doing great and had a great day today. Karen and I were with him at 11, 2, 5 and again at 8 tonight. Gary and Kathy treated us to dinner tonight between the 5 and 8. Any time spent with them is always special to us.

He is up to 3 lb. 14.5 oz. and we are confident at 36 mL's per feeding that he will be 4 lbs by the weekend. Very exciting!!!

He has moved to the 3rd different room during our stint in the NICU. We choose to believe that this is a blessing. Whenever a baby needs to be moved, the strongest, healthiest baby in that unit is moved. So, we feel blessed that we are making steady progress.

The two biggest tests that we have to pass going forward is being able to eat all our bottle at one setting and be able to maintain our body temperature clothed and wrapped in an open crib.

We know we will get there. Hard to believe that it will be 4 weeks tomorrow and Porter will be one month old on Sunday. We could not have managed without your love, prayers, and support.

We are SO BLESSED!!!

Love, WKC and P!!!!!
